By the Thames #3Posted by DaveB (Exeter, United Kingdom) on 5 September 2007 in Cityscape & Urban and Portfolio. Now were moving across the Thames towards the Tate Museum; this shot is taken on the Tate Modern side of the river, looking back across the bridge. I cant for the life of me remember what the name of the big whit building is, I'm sure a native Londoner will be able to let me know! As always, comments are welcome, particularly those offering feedback and criticism on my images! (It's the only way I'll learn!) :)

Wolfgang Prigge from CanadaVery good mix of old and new one can almost see the "ballet" of the construction cranes. Nice perspective too! 5 Sep 2007 10:32am Dipti from Jersey City, United Stateswhile the pic seems too busy initially, i really like the mood it captures....The sky has a lot to do with it .... nice one! 5 Sep 2007 11:36am Brian from United StatesWonderful image of the energy of London life--great stuff! 5 Sep 2007 2:25pm Morris J. Chisholm from Thunder Bay - Land of the Sleeping Giant, CanadaWonderful its a great work of art. I'm thinking a panoramic of the area in your photo would be excellent. 5 Sep 2007 5:37pm Richard_Irwin from Belper, United KingdomNice composition, a well balanced shot indeed 5 Sep 2007 9:58pm amy from Rocky Mountain House, CanadaI really like this shot... it does seem chaotic but with that building being central just pulls it all together seamlessly. In other words.. Bravo! 6 Sep 2007 2:08am Markus from Reading, United KingdomHaha, you must be joking, it's St. Paul's cathedral! Cool POV! 9 Sep 2007 12:05pm @Markus: Cheers for the info Markus, I dont pay enough attention sometimes! Perhaps it's a little sharper but there's more going on that drags you into the image. Good work. 11 Sep 2008 3:43pm |
