Skater Boys

Posted by
DaveB (Exeter, United Kingdom) on 18 September 2007 in People & Portrait and Portfolio.

I was playing with my new lens in Plymouth a couple of weekends ago, and I stopped for a few minutes to watch some skaters do their stuff. Some of them were actually really good, but I didnt manage to get any decent action shots. This one I like though, it seems very meditative!

I'll be away from my computer for 2 weeks (Morocco Baby!), so i wont be seeing or replying to comments, but I will get back to you when I return, as feedback is always welcomed here!

As always, comments are welcome, particularly those offering feedback and criticism on my images! (It's the only way I'll learn!) :)

Happy to hear you got a new lens! I am curious as to what you ended up buying and if you like it? I asked you on the forum - but you haven't been back since the lens question - do you have the checkbox marked so you get notified if anyone posts to the topic again?

This shot is nice! But preferred your views and places, etc. Hope you are having a great trip in Morocco Baby! :-)

I like this, Dave, and as you say, it does have a meditative look to it. Well caught, then. Perhaps a tiny bit lacking in sharpness in the faces, but still a very worthwhile image.
