The Tanners Souk, FesPosted by DaveB (Exeter, United Kingdom) on 7 October 2007 in Business & Industry and Portfolio. This is the first image from my trip to Morocco, taken towards the end of the trip. This is an image of the Tanners Souk in Fes; here, men work with pigeon droppings and possibly carcinogenic chemicals for pounds a day, while tourists sit on rooftops, waft mint under their nose to ward off the smell, and take photos! More than a bit wrong, but an experience nonetheless As always, comments are welcome, particularly those offering feedback and criticism on my images! (It's the only way I'll learn!) :)
