Pretty in Pink

Posted by DaveB (Exeter, United Kingdom) on 19 October 2007 in People & Portrait and Portfolio.

This was taken in Trafalgar Square, on the last day of my holiday. I was sitting watching the world go by, whiling the time away until my bus and taking random shots to fill up my memory card. This was one of those throwaway shots, taken simply because the little girls dress stood out so much from the crowd around her.

When i looked at it once I got home, I was really pleased, especially with the symmetry between the girl and her father. Throwaway shots rule!

As always, comments are welcome, particularly those offering feedback and criticism on my images! (It's the only way I'll learn!) :)
