A Splash of ColourPosted by DaveB (Exeter, United Kingdom) on 29 October 2007 in People & Portrait. In the otherwise muted colours in the lobby of the British Museum, these wandering tourists provide a splash of colour! As always, comments are welcome, particularly those offering feedback and criticism on my images! (It's the only way I'll learn!) :)

I love the contrasts here!! 29 Oct 2007 5:30pm @Rebecca: Thanks Rebecca @HorseRotorVator: Cheers for your comment! @Michael: It is a wicked place! Thanks for your comment! Richard_Irwin from Belper, United KingdomGood shot, nice to capture some colour amongst the greys, greens and dark clothes others were wearing. Did you see the Terracotta Army when you visited....I heard there were queues of hundreds of people waiting to get in from 8am as it's been so popular? 29 Oct 2007 10:50pm @Richard_Irwin: I went towards the end of their run, but it was still pretty busy, and I was pressed for time, so I stuck with the Rosetta Stone and the Elgin Marbles instead! @nalen: Cheers Nalen Andrew Gould from Sydney, AustraliaThey certainly do. It almost looks as if you've desaturated the rest of the image. Well spotted. 30 Oct 2007 3:08am @Andrew Gould: Cheers Andrew |
