Absolutely MarbleousPosted by DaveB (Exeter, United Kingdom) on 30 October 2007 in Art & Design. One of the pieces of the Elgin Marbles, which seem to be constantly under dispute between the British and Greek Governments As always, comments are welcome, particularly those offering feedback and criticism on my images! (It's the only way I'll learn!) :)

MaryB from Staffordshire, United KingdomOooo! I've never seen these, a great shot Dave! 30 Oct 2007 8:02am @MaryB: Cheers Mary Walt from Scarborough, CanadaAmazing how many old statues wound up headless, thru one dispute or another, isn't it? Nice shot! 30 Oct 2007 12:36pm @Walt: Cheers Walt @HorseRotorVator: Thanks for your comment! On the other, which is the British Museums view, if you have museums in two different countries (Greece and England), so many more people will be able to appreciate them! Rebecca from Leicester, United KingdomPerfectly done, Dave, and so perfectly said. Bravo!! 31 Oct 2007 3:00am @Rebecca: Cheers Rebecca Claudio from Porto, PortugalAnothe great shot but...it was a headless collection? 1 Nov 2007 1:18am @Claudio: Dont think so Claudio, I just think time has taken it's toll! |
