Continuing with my textures theme for the week, here's a close up of some ropes and a rusty chain in an old fishing boat, a nice contrast I think!

It should be said that I got this idea from the adorama website, specifically this page, and this page was brought to my attention through the aminus forums (Join if you haven't already!)

Due to the fact that I'll be working on site in Scotland for the forseeable future, I probably won't be able to respond to comments straight away, but will try my best, and will definitely get back to you eventually!

As always, feedback and constructive criticism will be greatly appreciated!

@FC: There have been some problems with the forum recently, but you do need to register for it seperately to aminus, you don't use the same login! Thanks for your comment!

There is something about the way the sea weathers things, that sets it apart, the beautifully bleached rope hides innocently behind the strong rusted chain. Super textures and colours in this superb image, I love this one Dave.

Wow, I agree with Amy here, Dave. That's true indeed!! Absolutely first-class textures, tones, DOF and framing. And the contrast in textures and tones, alongside some superficial similarity in shape, is indeed striking. Truly outstanding.
