Cliffs of Red

Posted by DaveB (Exeter, United Kingdom) on 24 November 2007 in Landscape & Rural.

Taken at the end of the boardwalk at Sidmouth. You can see the remains of the Napoli away in the distance, and for those of you interested in geology, the cliffs are part of a formation called the Otter Sandstone!

As always, comments are welcome, particularly those offering feedback and criticism on my images! (It's the only way I'll learn!) :)

This is truly breathtaking. I have to stop and gaze and gaze at this to try and take it all in. Marvellous composition, and truly compelling.
