The Longboat

Posted by DaveB (Exeter, United Kingdom) on 10 December 2007 in Art & Design.

This was taken at Portland Quarry last week while I was on a site vissit, it's a sculpture of a boast I guess. I did'nt actually like the sculpture itself, I felt the concrete in it ruined it, as most of the other pieces of art there are carved out of the natural limestone, but I'm quite pleased with this shot, although looking at it I felt I might have gone a bit overboard with the post-processing!

As always, comments are welcome, particularly those offering feedback and criticism on my images! (It's the only way I'll learn!) :)
