BranchesPosted by DaveB (Exeter, United Kingdom) on 13 January 2008 in Landscape & Rural. Yet more branches suspended in time, as water flows around them. This was taken through an ND Filter, and PS'ed to saturate the colours a little! As always, comments are welcome, particularly those offering feedback and criticism on my images! (It's the only way I'll learn!) :)

Michael Skorulski from Cigel, SlovakiaA lovely shot, Dave. The milkiness of the water and the colors in the vegetation are really appealing. 13 Jan 2008 7:25am @Michael Skorulski: Thanks Michael @eddy: Thanks Eddy Pouhou from Apeldoorn, Netherlandsanother fine art pieces 13 Jan 2008 11:51am @Pouhou: Thanks Pouhou, it is a bit messy in terms of composition, but I was going for colour and movement, so I was relatively pleased with it! @Orko: Thanks Orko Graham Russon from Cape Town, South AfricaGreat shot, after being inspired by your photos, I tried some running river shots today. 99.9% of them overexposed or blurred, I now have a new found respect for your work, well done. 13 Jan 2008 8:05pm @Graham Russon: Alot of mine were aswel Graham, or just came out looking rubbish. I enjoyed playing around for a couple of hours with these shots and experimenting with my camera settings to see what works! Japanalia from Yokohama, JapanI definitely like your studies of branches, twigs and especially water!Have you tried the water looking like water and not like silk? I'd be interested to see such a composition. 14 Jan 2008 9:34am @Japanalia: I did take a few with much shorter shutter speeds, but I do like the silky nature long exposures produce! Steven from Montreal, CanadaI love the contrast between the stationary parts and the flowing stream! 14 Jan 2008 3:24pm @Steven: Thanks Steven @Brites: Thanks Brites |
