Bridge over Troubled WaterPosted by DaveB (Exeter, United Kingdom) on 15 January 2008 in Landscape & Rural and Portfolio. Not troubled waters at all, but a calm pond full of ducks at Glastonbury Abbey! This is a HDR shot inspired by Michael on 2 levels; firstly, his series of wicked HDR shots, one of which can be seen here, and secondly, his shots of Glastonbury Abbey, which made me realise some of the landmarks on my doorstep that I still haven't visited! On the shot itself, it's a combination of 3 raw files taken of the bridge just as the setting sun was shining off it. Each of the shots on it's own didn't look great, but a bit of photoshop trickery made them look quite nice! The sky is a little blown out by the HDR process, but I think it works well! As always, comments are welcome, particularly those offering feedback and criticism on my images! (It's the only way I'll learn!) :)
