Dancing QueensPosted by DaveB (Exeter, United Kingdom) on 22 January 2008 in People & Portrait. Following from Dancing Queen, here are dancing queens, my Mam and my brother Barry (I'm sure he'll love the title!). Again, at this stage, everyone had more than a few drinks, and were up dancing in force! Constructive criticism (or just downright criticism!) is welcome and appreciated for all my shots! As always, comments are welcome, particularly those offering feedback and criticism on my images! (It's the only way I'll learn!) :)

Michael Skorulski from Cigel, SlovakiaThe b/w lends a 50s air to this photo. It's a fun shot. 22 Jan 2008 7:17am @Michael Skorulski: Thanks Michael Rags from Plano, United Stateslovely image. The white on his shirt is kinda blown out but the atmosphere of the image is perfect. 22 Jan 2008 7:31am @Rags: Thanks Rags @Forouz: Thanks Forouz @Ina: Thanks Ina @Michael: Thanks Michael Mohsen from Kuala Lumpur, MalaysiaHey Dave, I'm back after a long period of time :D 22 Jan 2008 4:06pm @Mohsen: Welcome back and thanks for your comment! It's so fun to catch family moments like this. 22 Jan 2008 6:16pm @amy: It is Amy! Graham Russon from Cape Town, South AfricaAgain a great moment in time. The black and white is a bit stark for me, and perhaps a softer tone would have been more subtle. If you are using photoshop check out a free plugin called virtual photographer, which lets you explore some great bw effects. 22 Jan 2008 8:46pm @Graham Russon: I'll give it a try Graham! @Brites: Thanks Brites @standley: Thanks Standley MaryB from Staffordshire, United KingdomIt looks like they're both enjoying the craic, you can't beat a good wedding. 22 Jan 2008 11:34pm @MaryB: Thanks Mary |
