All at SeaPosted by DaveB (Exeter, United Kingdom) on 27 January 2008 in Landscape & Rural. A similar shot to this one, I think I prefer that to this! Constructive criticism (or just downright criticism!) is welcome and appreciated for all my shots! As always, comments are welcome, particularly those offering feedback and criticism on my images! (It's the only way I'll learn!) :)

Michael Skorulski from Cigel, SlovakiaA really nice composition, Dave. The different textures are very pleasing. 27 Jan 2008 6:56am @Michael Skorulski: Thanks Michael @Steven: Thanks Steven amy from Rocky Mountain House, CanadaBoth definitely have their own merits... but the sky in this one is more dramatic and the churned up water is very ominous. The "distortion" of the cement wall (?) because of the wide angle just lends itself to a bigger picture... as in the view seems bigger. I like this one more just for the more dramatic appearance. (Crikeys I can be long winded! LOL) 27 Jan 2008 5:34pm @amy: Nothing wrong with that Amy, I still prefer the first one, the sharpness in it does something for me! Graham Russon from Cape Town, South AfricaThis one has a different feel to it, omninus (as amy puts it) sums it up. A more moody pic. Great stuff. 27 Jan 2008 7:59pm @Graham Russon: Thanks Graham standley from brou-sur-chantereine, FranceVery nice moody shot. I like the perspective 27 Jan 2008 8:53pm @standley: Thanks Standley MaryB from Staffordshire, United KingdomThis one is a little more stark than the other, I actually prefer the other one, I like the bolder colours, and the way the different textures stand out more. 27 Jan 2008 9:14pm @MaryB: Thanks Mary, I like the first one aswel! Forouz from Bavaria, GermanyI like the sky and that more brightness at the end. 27 Jan 2008 11:38pm @Forouz: Thanks Forouz Japanalia from Yokohama, JapanTo me this looks like a gaze into the infinite, especially with the sky that seems running from all sides into the horizon line. 31 Jan 2008 3:14pm |
