HorsePosted by DaveB (Exeter, United Kingdom) on 11 February 2008 in Animal & Insect. Taken at Lake Willard a couple of weeks ago, I like the effect the Wide-Angle lens had on this shot! As always, comments are welcome, particularly those offering feedback and criticism on my images! (It's the only way I'll learn!) :)

pLusOne from Cheonan, South Korealol, the head of the horse looks bigger than normal ones. 11 Feb 2008 5:33am @pLusOne: Thanks for the comment pLusOne! e. from New York, NY, United StatesBeautiful! I like it too, although the horse somehow seems a lot shorter than it probably should, which makes for a rather neat effect. 11 Feb 2008 5:51am @e.: Thanks e. Jason Kravitz from Brussels, Belgiumwide angle does work great here. I like the wet fur texture on the horses - it helps set a tone for the day of this photo. I don't have too much criticism to offer on this shot as it is well done although I might suggest you use the Announcement feature to request comments. Announcements can be used to place message under all your photos (without having to type it each day). You can add an announcement in your Account page under Profile. 11 Feb 2008 8:21am @Jason Kravitz: Thanks for the comment and advice Jason, I have seen this on other peoples blogs and have been secretly wondering how to do it! :) @Steven: Thanks Steven @«miguel.peixeiro»: Thanks Miguel Helma from Tehran, Iranwooow! very nice shot , beauty nature , good forgraund :) 11 Feb 2008 10:04am @Helma: Thanks Helma MaryB from Staffordshire, United KingdomI really like the effect here Dave, I've only used my wide angle lens for straight forward scenery shot's, this has definatly inspired me to go out and try using it in a more creative way, thank you. 11 Feb 2008 11:04am @MaryB: Getting up close and personal with something or someone can lead to some fun results! Tracey from White Hall, United StatesLooks really small for a horse! A miniature I assume ;0) Well done. I too like the wide angle. Gives a humorous feel to it. Smiles are always good. 11 Feb 2008 1:10pm @Tracey: Not quite a miniature, but not the biggest beast! Thanks for your comment!
