Not so Fresh

Posted by DaveB (Exeter, United Kingdom) on 20 February 2008 in Cityscape & Urban.

Taken last week during my lunch break, this stream runs just past a pub / coffee shop, from which the sign probably originated from, before feeding into the River Exe!

As always, comments are welcome, particularly those offering feedback and criticism on my images! (It's the only way I'll learn!) :)

Nice shot, DaveB.
Yeah, It looks not so fresh, and I hate people to dump wastes in the public areas without any conscious.

Ick! This always gets my goat. Nicely done with the doc shot, Dave!! As to your external drives... what did you look for in one? I'm at a loss as to what I need compared to what I want to spend. I really don't know that much about them...

@amy: Well I already had a freecom 250 gig drive, but that was starting to fill up, so I bought 2 of their 500 gig drives, mainly because they were cheap and my 250 gig one worked so well!

Saying that, the backup software freecom supply is absolutely crap, so I downloaded free backup software from Comodo, which is cool; once you've copied everything across between drives, you can set it up to run in the background and synchronise so every change you make on your working drive is duplicated on your backup!

Sign of the times. A powerful shot that is understood all over the world. Quite a contrast from your foggy day shots, and reminds us that everything was beautiful nothing would be beautiful.

That is awful Dave, though an excellent documentary photo! Don't they impose fines over there for littering and depositing refuse wherever they want to?? :-(

@Anne: In theory they do, why noones picked up on this I don't know!

I also get angry when I'm served old, stale, bitter coffee. I understand your Hulk-like frustration...
