In ChainsPosted by DaveB (Exeter, United Kingdom) on 22 February 2008 in Landscape & Rural. This was taken in Exmouth last weekend, just as the sun was setting over the mountains. I've cropped this one to remove the vast majority of the setting sun, cos with it in I thought it dominated the image, looks much nicer now in my opinion! As always, comments are welcome, particularly those offering feedback and criticism on my images! (It's the only way I'll learn!) :)

e. from New York, NY, United StatesBeautiful colors in this! Really like the line of chains in this. 22 Feb 2008 5:25am @e.: Thanks e. Wysterior from Kloten, SwitzerlandA perfect crop, wonderful photo, very well done. If you want to hear something critic.. Two things I would try. First try to make the graduation a bit harder, a little bit more contrast. Second try to make the part where the sun is a bit darker, but not too much. 22 Feb 2008 8:30am @Wysterior: Thanks for the feedback Wysterior @pLusOne: Thanks pLusOne Lorraine from Gatineau, CanadaI love the muted colours in this one and the chain gives a nice nautical feel to it... 22 Feb 2008 11:49am @Lorraine: Thanks Lorraine @Daroru: Thanks Daroru adlibitumphotos from Lyon, FranceTrès belle photo. Great stuff 22 Feb 2008 10:40pm @Graham Russon: Thanks Graham drphoto from Newcastle upon Tyne, United KingdomInteresting image. I kinda like the footprints, its as if someone has recently been freed from the chains and legged it. Dan 23 Feb 2008 8:23pm @drphoto: I think they're mine!
