Exmouth Sunset #3Posted by DaveB (Exeter, United Kingdom) on 26 February 2008 in Landscape & Rural and Portfolio. Another shot taken at Exmouth, this was shot looking almost directly into the setting sun, which provided a really cool lighting effect which quite accurately mirrored how it looked in real life. As always, comments are welcome, particularly those offering feedback and criticism on my images! (It's the only way I'll learn!) :)

@e.: Thanks e. Lorraine from Gatineau, CanadaTook my breath away, the colour and reflection is divine... 26 Feb 2008 11:34am @Lorraine: Thanks Lorraine @Reza: Thanks Reza Tracey from White Hall, United StatesBeautiful colors! All of the boats look like they are stranded on the sand! I hope that wasn't the case! I wish the horizon line wasn't dead center, as it splits the frame in half...but otherwise it is gorgeous! 26 Feb 2008 4:31pm @Tracey: I sorta agree with you Tracey, the only way to get this shot was to centre the sun in the shot and centre-meter it, as otherwise it came out way too bright! If you take the horizon as being the top of the hill though, it's nicely divided into thirds (well almost!) @TILALA: Thanks Tilala @Hoopand: Thanks Hoopand Graham Russon from Cape Town, South AfricaGreat photo, think the position of the horizon is spot on. 26 Feb 2008 8:17pm @Graham Russon: Thanks Graham Tse Min from Melbourne, Australiai like the way it's taken. although i don't like too much of a sky, but u've gotta keep the land a bit more. so i think this is great stuff. lovely warm colours. 26 Feb 2008 8:47pm @Tse Min: Thanks Tse Min. The orange reflection glow in the water has come out really well. Makes me wish I was back down that way again.
