Exeter Cathedral #2Posted by DaveB (Exeter, United Kingdom) on 11 March 2008 in Architecture. Another HDR shot taken in Exeter Cathedral on Saturday. As always, comments are welcome, particularly those offering feedback and criticism on my images! (It's the only way I'll learn!) :)

@Dara: Thanks Dara Peter Miller from Lichfield, United KingdomDave, as yesterday I like this shot, I love the colours, if I had a small criticism it would only be that the shot looks slightly (not a lot) out of focus. I do not have cs2 myself i have cs1 (if you know where I can get a copy that would be great), if you use the hdr plug in in cs2 does it allow you to automatically re-align multiple exposures, i believe this is the case in photomatix. When taking multiple exposures even when using a tripod there is the possibility that the camera could move slightly. just a thought, you may tell me differently 11 Mar 2008 10:46am @Peter Miller: I think the shot could be a bit sharper, especially in the centre of it, but I don't think it's out of focus. All these shots were taken hand-held at a high ISO to keep the shutter speed high, but you still definitely get camera movement in between shots, and yeah, CS3 does try to align images for you, and usually does quite well. I didn't want to take my tripod out for these shots, as there was any number of tourists milling around. A tripod would probably help out, especially with a remote release, as with mine, once you set your camera up to bracket it takes all the shots automatically! MaryB from Staffordshire, United KingdomReally beautiful Dave. The details stand out so wonderfully. Nicely done. 11 Mar 2008 3:29pm @MaryB: Thanks Mary Reza from Montreal, CanadaBeautiful shot indeed, but as Peter I think maybe it has a focus problem or it is blured because of camrea shaking that have made the image not to be that sharp. The yesterday's image was much sharper I think. 11 Mar 2008 4:54pm @Reza: I do think you're right, possibly due to PS combining the images. Thanks for the feedback Michael from Wuppertal, GermanyWOW! You made the pictures I would like to have taken! GREAT! 11 Mar 2008 5:22pm @Michael: Thanks Michael @Graham Russon: Thanks Graham amy from Rocky Mountain House, CanadaI like the barrel distortion which to me is more noticable with today's post. That HDR really just defines everything beautifully. Great pov, Dave. 11 Mar 2008 9:40pm @amy: Thanks Amy Tse Min from Melbourne, Australiawhat magnificient architecture. nicely composed!!! 11 Mar 2008 9:49pm @Tse Min: Thanks Tse Min @Stunner: Thanks Stunner pLusOne from Cheonan, South KoreaCool shot! 12 Mar 2008 4:54am @pLusOne: Thanks pLusOne. @e.: Thanks e.
