Exeter Cathedral #4

Posted by DaveB (Exeter, United Kingdom) on 13 March 2008 in Architecture.

More HDR from Exeter Cathedral! These are some of the flags hanging along the inner walls in the cathedral; i have no idea what the second one represents!

As always, comments are welcome, particularly those offering feedback and criticism on my images! (It's the only way I'll learn!) :)

Beautiful flags! Those look old. And heavy.

Great shot, will you be doing any outdoor HDR work

13 Mar 2008 11:54am

@Peter Miller: I've already tried out a couple, you can see one here, and I do plan on doing more. I really wanna try the exterior of the cathedral, but I'm waiting for the weather to be nice to me!

Reza from Montreal, Canada

Very nice shot indeed.

Stunning series, I've been working on my hdr stuff, but its a lot harder than it looks. Hats off to you for making it look easy.

@Graham Russon: Thanks Graham, it is tricky, you never know what the end product is going to look like!

MaryB from Staffordshire, United Kingdom

The architecture in this cathedral is wonderful, I really like the old flags and would say that they are both regimental colours. Great work Dave.

This is lovely. The red flags contrast well with the walls. Great HDR series
