I'm posting this after watching Liverpool draw 1:1 with Chelsea in the Champions League after an own goal was scored with the last kick of the game, so I'm not a happy camper!
Anyway, I think I like this, it took me ages to get a decent shot of this ride, and I like the effect my 50mm lens gives here to make the ride and kids in the foreground stand out. I'd prefer not to have such a busy background, but that's life sometimes, and after 2 pints I don't feel like going mad in photoshop!
As always, comments are welcome, particularly those offering feedback and criticism on my images! (It's the only way I'll learn!) :)

Nice action shot, I like the moment you've captured. What about making the background bw, leaving the magnificent colours in the foreground.

I think that background works in splendidly with the whole... damn hate to use this word but can't think of a better, atmosphere. Glad your patience won out... Great shot, Dave!
