GreeneryPosted by DaveB (Exeter, United Kingdom) on 13 May 2008 in Plant & Nature. I experimented with the flash exposure compensation function on my camera over the weekend, and came up with some interesting results, like this one! Finally I found a decent use for my pop-up flash! As always, comments are welcome, particularly those offering feedback and criticism on my images! (It's the only way I'll learn!) :)

Kevin from IrelandNice shot. Just back from leave, wished ur dad a belated happy birthday. 13 May 2008 10:29am @Kevin: Cheers Kevin @Alun Lambert: Thanks Alun Tse Min from Melbourne, Australianice! looks like the flash did a good job in evenly distributing the light, rather than concentrating on one spot. 13 May 2008 12:58pm @Tse Min: Thanks Tse Min @Peter: Thanks Peter amy from Rocky Mountain House, CanadaSome would comment on the lack of focus in the foreground, others the shallow dof.... I REALLY love it as it is! To me these "shortcomings" are what really make this a feast for the eyes. Great colour, depth, and focus point. Excellent! 13 May 2008 6:53pm @amy: I like it as well Amy, I think A wider DoF would make it less special. Also, when my pop-up comes up, the camera automatically switches to the widest apeture. Need to dig out my instruction manual and see whats going on! Graham Russon from Cape Town, South AfricaFantastic shot, droplets are incredible. 13 May 2008 7:11pm @Graham Russon: Thanks Graham jasp from United KingdomClassic image... gets me every time... hope it is as warm in Scotland as it is down here ! 13 May 2008 7:43pm @jasp: Thanks Jasp, the mornings up here start like a november in Exeter, but it gradually comes around, nearly reached 20 degrees today! @Michael: Thanks Michael @Wysterior: Thanks Wys @akarui: Thanks Akarui MaryB from Staffordshire, United KingdomOooo!
