Sweaty Penguin

A visit to Edinburgh Zoo yesterday provided me with a chance to try out some animal photography, and even though alot of them were taken through glass or cages, I think I got some good shots. This is a king penguin, who was relaxing under one of the water vapour sprayers.
As always, comments are welcome, particularly those offering feedback and criticism on my images! (It's the only way I'll learn!) :)

This is a super shot Dave, the details and colour are wonderful. I love the water droplets especially the one on the end of his beak :)
Looking forward to your animal photographs too.
btw thanks for the link, wish I'd seen it earlier, there was some georgous scenery in Wales, but as landscapes are a weak point with me, I just looked, and took the odd shot or two, that'll teach me, not to be such a wuss and just to go for it. lol :D

@MaryB: I feel the same way, I like shooting landscapes, but I never get many that really pop. I think I'm gonna enter that one for a laugh to see what happens, I enter the weekly guardian competition sometimes but have never done something like this yet!
