Tiger Tiger #3Posted by DaveB (Exeter, United Kingdom) on 21 June 2008 in Animal & Insect. This is the same as this shot, but in B&W and with a bit of diffuse glow; I think i still prefer the original one, but I still like this! As always, comments are welcome, particularly those offering feedback and criticism on my images! (It's the only way I'll learn!) :)

@Ekaputra Tupamahu: Thanks Ekaputra Florence from Paris, FranceYou're right to like this one, first, what a splendid animal, second, what a nice processing, great B&W, a soft blur which adds tenderness... what an attitude he has ! :-) 21 Jun 2008 2:37pm @Florence: Thanks Florence Sammi from New Jersey, United StatesBeautiful position. Nice tiger, and good idea to use black&white! 21 Jun 2008 5:08pm @Sammi: Thanks Sammi Graham Russon from Cape Town, South AfricaPrefer the color one, perhaps just the bw or a sepia tone, without the diffuse glow. You should check out a cool ps plugin called virtual photographer, it allows you to add all sorts of bw effects. Think its free, just Google it. 22 Jun 2008 8:02pm @Graham Russon: Thanks Graham, I've heard of that one before, never tried it though! Jon from Basingstoke, United KingdomStill looks a powerfull image in black & white. I am going to Longleat in September, so should have some great photos myself soon like this one. :-) 24 Jun 2008 3:06pm @Jon: Thanks Jon, Longleat would be cool! |
