Last Seat at the End of the WorldPosted by DaveB (Exeter, United Kingdom) on 29 July 2008 in Abstract & Conceptual. ALthough this shot was taken just before this one, I like how the B&W and contrast have flipped the tone! As always, comments are welcome, particularly those offering feedback and criticism on my images! (It's the only way I'll learn!) :)

@Erik: Thanks Erik bm from Budapest, Hungaryterrific, mysterious shot...love the tonal range and the texture. 29 Jul 2008 7:25am @bm: Thanks bm Peter Mannfolk from Landskrona, SwedenYes, it´s a bit strange but nonetheless a brilliant one! And I prefer this one to the other image you pointed at... /Peter 29 Jul 2008 12:53pm @Peter Mannfolk: Thanks Peter @Peter Miller: Thanks Peter Graham Russon from Cape Town, South AfricaGreat processing and does add a different dimension. Nice one. 29 Jul 2008 3:42pm @Graham Russon: Thanks Graham DonLon from Providence, RI, United Statesworks better than the color. very stange production. I don't know if I like the effect, but it did catch my eye and couse me to study it, so I guess it was successful! 29 Jul 2008 5:40pm @DonLon: Thanks Don, one of the things that gets me is that the focus is on the shrub at the back rather than the guy. It was unintentional but works well I think Toomaj from Tehran, Iranstrange shot with an interesting retouch, nice title chosen,,, smaller body of the man in proportion to the other things and mostly faded appearance of him has made it more mysterious.. 29 Jul 2008 7:48pm @Toomaj: Thanks Toomaj @amy: Thanks Amy Aayawa from Edinburgh, United KingdomVery nice, it has an old time air to it. It also feels a little unsharp to me, but in away that adds to the image. 9 Aug 2008 10:38am @Aayawa: Its cos the focal point isn't where you expect it to be, which was accidental but something I quite like! |
