Men at Work #3

This is John, the lead driller we saw yesterday.

As always, comments are welcome, particularly those offering feedback and criticism on my images! (It's the only way I'll learn!) :)

Graham Russon from Cape Town, South Africa

Good BW shot Dave, very real life. What are they drilling for....?

@Observing: It's not oil or anything exciting like that; it's a ground investigation, so we're looking to determine the geotechnical and geochemical properties of the soil and rock underlying the area for design purposes. Unfortunately, I'm bound by confidentiality, so I can't actually name the project, but anyone who follows the news could figure out why there's a major ground investigation going on near the Forth road bridge! :)

Sri Harsha from Melbourne, Australia

Beautiful shot. The black and white portrayal is powerful.
