Men at Work #4

John and JP at work; they're in the process of putting SPT rod's down the borehole, which are used to give a measure of the in-situ strength of the soil.

For weather nerds, the mist you can see in the background is the Har over the Firth of Forth; it really does have a cool little micro-climate of it's own!
