Men at Work #5

Posted by DaveB (Exeter, United Kingdom) on 8 August 2008 in Business & Industry.

This is Kieron and Pete, another cable percussion crew (Steve is not pictured). They've just managed to put an installation in a hole with artesian conditions (which means the water was rising to above ground level, 3.6m above it to be exact!), so they're rather pleased with themselves, and rightly so!

As always, comments are welcome, particularly those offering feedback and criticism on my images! (It's the only way I'll learn!) :)

Great b&w ! It seems to be a risky job, no ?

@zOOm: Drillers are very health and safety concious, due to the dangerous conditions they work in, although you do occasionally meet an older driller missing a couple of fingers!
