Dancing GirlPosted by DaveB (Exeter, United Kingdom) on 24 August 2008 in People & Portrait. A burlesque girl at the Edinburgh Festival; I'm not sure what she was advertising, as her and her companion were never doing anything when I walked past. Still nice to shoot though! As always, comments are welcome, particularly those offering feedback and criticism on my images! (It's the only way I'll learn!) :)

Paco Díaz from Palma de Mallorca, SpainWell done this candid shot, sharp, clear and expressive. I like the contrast between the people in the background and the fresh aspect of this goodlooking woman. 24 Aug 2008 6:47am @Paco Díaz: Thanks Paco Lorraine from Gatineau, CanadaNo matter how you take it there is always such artistry in your photo, this is a great candid! 24 Aug 2008 7:48am @Lorraine: Thanks Lorraine @zOOm: Thanks zOOm @shahab: Thanks Shahab Graham Russon from Cape Town, South AfricaComposition and colours in this are awesome, great shot. 24 Aug 2008 7:53pm @Graham Russon: Thanks Graham @Rags: She does indeed Observing from West Cheshire, United KingdomPossibly a touch of Japan here...? Good candid shot Dave. 24 Aug 2008 10:27pm @Observing: Thanks Mike danthro from Suburbia, United Statesneat shot. she looks so pale. her costume and appearance makes one think of her as a character in a dramatic play or something but then the background pulls you out into a very different reality 25 Aug 2008 1:11am @danthro: Thanks for the comment Danthro |
