Street Theatre #8Posted by DaveB (Exeter, United Kingdom) on 29 August 2008 in People & Portrait and Portfolio. The same image as yesterdays, but following on from the original processing, I used a couple of LAB curves to almost desaturate the image, leaving only a little yellow and blue in. Let me know which one you prefer! As always, comments are welcome, particularly those offering feedback and criticism on my images! (It's the only way I'll learn!) :)

@Zygene: Thanks Zygene Kylie Greenan from Richmond, AustraliaWhat a wonderful image, a very powerful composition and the tones really add punch to this image, beautifully captured! 29 Aug 2008 11:42am @Kylie Greenan: Thanks Kylie @qassio: Thanks Qassio Jason Kravitz from Brussels, BelgiumI prefer this one as the person in the background is less visible (and distracting) 29 Aug 2008 1:18pm @Jason Kravitz: Thanks Jason @Veronelle: Thanks Veronelle Graham Russon from Cape Town, South AfricaI prefer this shot, the post processing is fantastic. 29 Aug 2008 2:41pm @Graham Russon: Thanks Graham Lorraine from CanadaI love both, but the bokeh looks better in this version :) so overall I'll have to say this is my favourite :) 29 Aug 2008 3:11pm @Lorraine: Thanks Lorraine, I don't think many people like cleaning! :) Lorraine from Canadaand again, looking back and forth, I find the gold glitters maybe in the coloured version, so both have some element that the other doesn't, so I'd have to say, that these are TWO darned good photos lol 29 Aug 2008 3:13pm @Lorraine: Thanks again @Ana Lúcia: Thanks Ana Lucia Melissa from Ogden, United StatesI love this shot! I think it works either way, though I find the blue in the color shot a bit distracting. 29 Aug 2008 4:44pm @Melissa: Thanks Melissa, I think I agree with you about prefering this one! akarui from Kagoshima, JapanI like better this version than the color one.
