The London Eye #1Posted by DaveB (Exeter, United Kingdom) on 3 September 2008 in Cityscape & Urban. I was in London over the weekend, and this is the first of a series of HDR images I'll be posting from the trip. For those of you who don't know, this is the London Eye, a hideously overpriced ferris-wheel on the banks of the Thames. As always, comments are welcome, particularly those offering feedback and criticism on my images! (It's the only way I'll learn!) :)

@Zygene: Merci Zygene Erik from Amersfoort, NetherlandsIt's a very cool shot, but i think in this particular shot the HDR is e bit to much...love the see a "normal" one... 3 Sep 2008 6:35am @Erik: I'll see what I can do Erik! Maben Robin from Bombay, IndiaNice framing, Good shot. (But, is that lens aberration to the bottom-right or is the building tilted?) 3 Sep 2008 1:37pm @Maben Robin: Thanks Maben, I think it's a combination of aberation and misaligned exposures! james mason from nottingham, United Kingdomi think hdr really brightens up this (can be) dull part of london 3 Sep 2008 2:44pm @james mason: Thanks James, the sunshine helped! Lorraine from United StatesSuch fabulous movement in this, the colours and vibrancy are outstanding...I have to look into this HDR or is it hrd, any hoo, wow :) 3 Sep 2008 2:49pm @Lorraine: HDR definitely! :) @Sujit Sudhi: Thanks Sujit Graham Russon from Cape Town, South AfricaThe vivid colours really make this a great shot. 3 Sep 2008 6:51pm @Graham Russon: Thanks Graham MaryB from Staffordshire, United KingdomOne day I'm going to learn this technique, this is wonderful work Dave. 3 Sep 2008 11:26pm @MaryB: Thanks Mary |
