St Pauls Cathedral HDRPosted by DaveB (Exeter, United Kingdom) on 11 September 2008 in Cityscape & Urban. This is a HDR image tonemapped from a single shot across the Thames looking at St Pauls Cathedral; I think after 2 trips to London this is the biggest tourist spot I've yet to visit, along with the Tower of London. A similar view to this can be seen here, which was taken a bit farther back along the bridge, but with my kit lens, so the Cathedral actually looks bigger! As always, comments are welcome, particularly those offering feedback and criticism on my images! (It's the only way I'll learn!) :)

How did you do it with people moving? 11 Sep 2008 8:22pm @Ken McCoy: Thanks Ken, This was done by tone-mapping a single layer in PS; the results aren't as good as bracketed exposures, but are still pretty good Toomaj from Tehran, Iranstrange and attractive atmosphere and good perspective , nice.. 11 Sep 2008 9:54pm @Toomaj: Thanks Toomaj Zygene from morlaix, FranceUne atmosphère de toute beauté, bravo j’aime beaucoup. 12 Sep 2008 4:58am @Zygene: Merci Zygene Benoit Darrieux from Clermont Ferrand, FranceExcellent composition, the frame is perfect.
