Ghost TownPosted by DaveB (Exeter, United Kingdom) on 19 September 2008 in Cityscape & Urban. A single tone-mapped image of the barracks at South Queensferry; the truck in the background (which slightly ruins the shot!) is from Edinburgh Museum, they use this area as storage. As always, comments are welcome, particularly those offering feedback and criticism on my images! (It's the only way I'll learn!) :)

Funnily enough, I've recently wandered around some old derelict buildings for inspiration...coming up soon. 19 Sep 2008 11:04pm @Ted: It's a disused army barracks, now used as storage facilities for a number of Scottish museums. Thanks for your comment Ted Observing from West Cheshire, United KingdomMagnificent shot, it is just like a painting. The truck looks too modern for this scene Dave, did you consider cloning it out with a nice big clump of tree ? 19 Sep 2008 11:33pm @Observing: I did Mike, it's in one of those tricky locations where any cloning I did looked messy! @ocean: Thanks Ocean @Eric Rousset: Thanks Eric |
