All the Fun of the Fair #9

Posted by DaveB (Exeter, United Kingdom) on 26 September 2008 in Lifestyle & Culture.

I posted a similar one here a while ago; I do like the B&W, but not necessarily the angle of the spinny thing!

As always, comments are welcome, particularly those offering feedback and criticism on my images! (It's the only way I'll learn!) :)

Lorraine from Gatineau, Canada

LOL Looks like a mechanical giant eating little people, I love it, what a great black and white, great timing on the shot :)

It looks like they are about to crash into each other. I think the angle's OK. I wouldn't want the rides to overlap because it would destroy the illusion of impending doom.

Giovanni from Milan, Italy

tokyo-drifter from Tokyo, Japan

I've seen few shots in which the composition so divorces the identity of the subjects from the subjects themselves as much it does here. Super. The rides could be kitchen utensils. It somehow makes a personal connection between the viewer and the people on the ride.

@tokyo-drifter: Wow, deep! :) Thanks for your comment!
