Pier #2

Posted by DaveB (Exeter, United Kingdom) on 15 October 2008 in Landscape & Rural.

This is the same shot as yesterday, and was a complete accident. After doing the original processing on yesterdays, I hit my tone-mapping filter instead of noise-ninja, and ended up with this!

As always, comments are welcome, particularly those offering feedback and criticism on my images! (It's the only way I'll learn!) :)

Will Wood from Toledo, United States

I think I like this one better than the previous shot. It almost looks like an HDR photo that has been converted to a b/w. Cool shot either way.

@Will Wood: The other way around, HDR after a B&W conversion from yesterday! Thanks for your comment!

Fantastic! The feeling of movement in the foreground is mesmerizing... but the clouds/sky is down right spectacular. Accidents can be a good thing, eh?
