I particularly like the natural composition here. I agree that there is a sense of story and wonderment in this one. The only thing I would mention is that the colour of the father's skin (on his legs) seems off -- a bit yellowish. Perhaps that is his true colour but it was a bit distracting from the rest of this really great image.

Striking reds in the foreground elevate a typically grey London scene...good work Dave!
(I hadn't noticed any unusual colour of legs until it was pointed out)

I really like the way the colours work here , the 'grey' of London is invigorated by the life and colour of the inhabitants, how true, and impressive stuff.
