Being British..........Posted by DaveB (Exeter, United Kingdom) on 28 January 2009 in Cityscape & Urban. There are a number of these kiosks dotted around the London Eye; I suppose its a tourist thing rather than patriotism, the same kinda shops are all over Dublin, whereever an American Tourist might venture! :) As always, comments are welcome, particularly those offering feedback and criticism on my images! (It's the only way I'll learn!) :)

Observing from West Cheshire, United KingdomGood low level angle just allowing the top of the London Eye to be seen. Is this a hdr image Dave...? 28 Jan 2009 5:38am @Observing: No Mike, as shot with some muting of the colours (a bit too much now I look at it again!) Thanks for your comment! @Zing: Thanks Zing Mike from Lichfield, United KingdomGreat angle you've taken the shot from and I really like the two vapour trails as well. 28 Jan 2009 7:31am @Mike: Thanks Mike @Jean-François: Thanks Jean-Francois @Laura: Thanks Laura! The sky makes it extra fine. 28 Jan 2009 4:53pm @Alphons: Thanks Alphons Steve Rice from Olympia, United StatesI'd probably make a bee line for this tourist trap. If it wasn't good stuff though, I'd keep on walking. Beautiful shot from a super point of view. 28 Jan 2009 5:21pm @Steve Rice: Thanks Steve Rui from Leiria, PortugalExcelent POV. Just a small portion of the London Eye, and showing the busy tourists. I like how the guy in the front looks surprised into the camera :) Nice processing and the muted colors work fine. Well done! 28 Jan 2009 5:29pm @Rui: Thanks Rui Diane Schuller from Hythe, CanadaI too like the angle you shot from. I was drawn more to the people and the sky. Those contrails add a sense of celebration (like fireworks) to the image -- perhaps I just have a vivid imagination. 28 Jan 2009 6:02pm @Diane Schuller: Thanks Diane EYES WIDE SHUT from United KingdomThere's that eye of yours again, Dave.
