Nice work 4 Feb 2009 8:43am @Laura: Thanks Laura Ronnie 2¢ from London, United KingdomInteresting how the 3-shot has offered an element of long exposure in the waves here . . adds a sense of power to the image. 4 Feb 2009 9:32am @Ronnie 2¢: Thanks Ronnie, I was happy with the effect myself! zOOm from Paris, FranceWhat a great post-processing today ! The juxtaposition of the 3 picts really give an extraordinary texture to the sea ! I love the muted tones too. That's a great image Dave. 4 Feb 2009 11:34am @zOOm: Thanks zOOm, I wish I bracketed more to remove the haloing, but I still like how it turned out @Luca Bobbiesi: Thanks Luca Scene by Sharon Photography from Kingston, Ontario, Canadafierce sea - great shot! 4 Feb 2009 11:52am @Scene by Sharon Photography: Thanks Sharon MaryB from Staffordshire, United KingdomStunning Dave, love the inclusion of the figure on the left. 4 Feb 2009 12:51pm @MaryB: Thanks Mary EYES WIDE SHUT from United KingdomPowerful and dramatic, Mother nature at her finest. A superb photograph, Dave. The lone onlooker gives a perspective of size. 4 Feb 2009 2:33pm @EYES WIDE SHUT: Thanks Eyes @Eleftheria: Thanks Eleftheria Diane Schuller from Hythe, CanadaMy initial thought was how soothing the processing is in this one and I was really drawn by the composition and negative space ... that made me linger a bit and then I noticed the person standing on the rock. What perspective for the size of those rocks. 4 Feb 2009 4:15pm @Diane Schuller: Thanks Diane, glad you enjoyed it! Steve Rice from Olympia, United StatesI like this one. great rocks anchor this fine image. 4 Feb 2009 4:57pm @Steve Rice: Thanks Steve Richard_Irwin from Belper, United KingdomThat sea looks a bit rough for swimming, wow, what ferocious weather 4 Feb 2009 5:21pm @Richard_Irwin: Thanks Richard Graham Russon from Cape Town, South AfricaWow that is an awesome shot. Human beings seem so small in front of these elements! Very poetic picture. 4 Feb 2009 10:41pm @Averi: Thanks Averi JJ from Jersey City, United StatesI have only tried HDR once, i dont carry my tripod with me as much as I should, well better to say I seldom carry it, but this is excellent processing in my mind very realistic looking 5 Feb 2009 2:08am @JJ: I only use a mini-manfrotto, so it's not too heavy to carry around. I need to invest in something a bit buker if I'm gonna work in high winds like those again! @One: Thanks One |
