I love these old places ful of history and stories... wonderful rendering of a brilliant HDR post-processing. 12 Feb 2009 11:07am @zOOm: Thanks zOOm @Didier: Merci Didier @MaryB: Thanks Mary Polydactyle from Montreal, CanadaExcellent gothic shot. Great colors and light. 12 Feb 2009 12:54pm @Polydactyle: Thanks Polydactyle zahai from Berlin, GermanyCool perspective and light. Shame about that halo though, resulting from the hdr treatment, have you tried softening it a bit? Besides that, great picture :) 12 Feb 2009 3:23pm @zahai: I didn't try softening it, although it does annoy me alot. This is a seven-shot sequence, as I was under the impression that making sure there was no blown shadows / highlights at either end would negate haloing, but obviously not! Thanks for your comment! The Big Guy from Regina, Saskatchewan, CanadaPart of being a good photographer is to wait for that perfect moment, well done. So really good Tone Mapping as well!! It's one of those photos that would look good on the living room wall. Great Job. 12 Feb 2009 3:30pm @The Big Guy: Thanks for your comment! EYES WIDE SHUT from The library of my soul, United KingdomOK, where the list. The eye for the shot, perspective, composition, toning and processing, yep check..... finished item and..... umm! So why don't mine look anywhere near as good as yours!!! Ha ha Dave, this is absolutely incredible. The depth and quality of your work is simply breathtaking. If ever I take a single shot in the same league as yours I will die a happy man. There is so much vitality and life in this image from the icy grass to the tip of the flag pole. An absolute gem, awesome. 12 Feb 2009 4:30pm @EYES WIDE SHUT: Thanks Eyes, I do like this one, but I think you like it more than me! Food from Las Cruces, NM, United StatesNice HDR work here. The only thing that doesn't work to make it a completely timeless image are the powerlines and aerials in the background. Those damn wires are always finding their way into my shots too. 5 Mar 2009 4:30am @Food: Thanks Food, i agree with you |
