For this is all A Dream........Posted by DaveB (Exeter, United Kingdom) on 17 February 2009 in Landscape & Rural. We dreamed one afternoon long ago (Box of Rain, the Grateful Dead) Taken with a circular polariser and a ND filter at Talland Bay on Saturday. Edit: I really like this image, but the Jpeg compression on both this site and Imageschack has made the reds in the foreground really dull and murky. It looks alot better before upload, and they're doesn't seem to be much to do about it. It's probably a conspiracy to make me upgrade to A+! :) As always, comments are welcome, particularly those offering feedback and criticism on my images! (It's the only way I'll learn!) :)

The water treatment is fine - i like the action that water presents. Well done. 17 Feb 2009 4:25pm @Don: Thanks Don, too be fair this looks alot better on my work screen than on my laptop. But not as good as the PSD file! Steve Rice from Olympia, United StatesDull reds or not, I like this a lot. The long exposure, the rugged rocks and that white house shining like a beacon make for one great composition. So, save your money on A+ and buy more camera gear. :-) 17 Feb 2009 5:32pm @Steve Rice: Thanks Steve, thats the plan! :) Ronnie 2¢ from London, United KingdomI feel I have wet feet looking at this for too long . . classic Cornwall coast . . 17 Feb 2009 7:28pm @Ronnie 2¢: Thanks Ronnie @Catalin: Thanks Catalin @Graham Russon: Thanks Graham @Veronelle: Thanks Veronelle el desdichado from Paris, Francetres belle composition d'une terre qui parait sauvage!! 17 Feb 2009 11:59pm @el desdichado: Thanks el desdichado DarkElf from Perth, Australiawow! amazing quality in this photo! wonderful dreamy mood and textures! nicely desaturated colours too - it goves this scene a more dramatic look... 18 Feb 2009 1:11am @DarkElf: Thanks DarkElf Observing from West Cheshire, United KingdomSuperb work the dark tones look great. 18 Feb 2009 2:50am @Observing: Thanks Mike |
