By Talland Bay #7Posted by DaveB (Exeter, United Kingdom) on 24 February 2009 in Landscape & Rural. Another shot from Talland Bay in Cornwall; I may try a pseudo-HDR version of this shot tomorrow as the archive is rather bare at the moment! As always, comments are welcome, particularly those offering feedback and criticism on my images! (It's the only way I'll learn!) :)

Peter Miller from Lichfield, United KingdomLooks like a great place to go fishing 24 Feb 2009 9:03am @Peter Miller: Not sure about that, the stream is smaller than it looks, but you might do some decent sea-fishing! Philip from Joburg, South AfricaExcellent shot it looks very straight to me for a natural one or am I wrong ? 24 Feb 2009 9:49am @Philip: Pretty much Philip, have just used one curve layer for the foreground and one for the water, although in retrospect, I should've used another one for the background! Scene by Sharon Photography from Kingston, Ontario, Canadalove the movement in the foreground 24 Feb 2009 11:03am @Scene by Sharon Photography: Thanks Sharon Laura from Birmingham, United KingdomReally interesting sharp rocks and great composition with the water coming straight at you. 24 Feb 2009 11:16am @Laura: Thanks Laura @Ida: Thanks Ida @Helma: Thanks Helma @BoB: Thanks BoB Observing from West Cheshire, United KingdomA super shot, but also very interesting, what an upheaval of the landmass, amazing. 24 Feb 2009 4:16pm @Observing: Thanks Mike Don from spokane, United StatesI like this subject very much. The stream running directly toward the camera is quite eye-catching. The massive, slanted rocks add to the shot. I'll be looking forward to your work on this image tomorrow. 24 Feb 2009 4:16pm @Don: Thanks Don Steve Rice from Olympia, United StatesMore of that nice red rock. The stream is quite beautiful. I like this a lot. 24 Feb 2009 4:42pm @Steve Rice: Thanks Steve Evelyne Dubos from Le Mans, FranceReally a lovely serie. This place is very attractive and i like your post-traitment who plays with the brown & green tones especially. 24 Feb 2009 6:51pm @Evelyne Dubos: Thanks Evelyne @Graham Russon: Thanks Graham MaryB from Staffordshire, United KingdomBeautiful textures and colours in this shot Dave. 25 Feb 2009 1:31am @MaryB: Thanks Mary, I'm feeling the same way. I do have time to go out, but the weather isn't inspiring me, nothing but dull grey clouds. Tammy/Cricket from Huntsville, United StatesI would love to be sitting there right now. So peaceful and I like the angle in which the picture was taken. 25 Feb 2009 9:38pm @Tammy/Cricket: Thanks tammy |
