Another shot from Talland Bay in Cornwall; I may try a pseudo-HDR version of this shot tomorrow as the archive is rather bare at the moment!

As always, comments are welcome, particularly those offering feedback and criticism on my images! (It's the only way I'll learn!) :)

Peter Miller from Lichfield, United Kingdom

Looks like a great place to go fishing

24 Feb 2009 9:03am

@Peter Miller: Not sure about that, the stream is smaller than it looks, but you might do some decent sea-fishing!

Philip from Joburg, South Africa

Excellent shot it looks very straight to me for a natural one or am I wrong ?

24 Feb 2009 9:49am

@Philip: Pretty much Philip, have just used one curve layer for the foreground and one for the water, although in retrospect, I should've used another one for the background!

Scene by Sharon Photography from Kingston, Ontario, Canada

love the movement in the foreground

Observing from West Cheshire, United Kingdom

A super shot, but also very interesting, what an upheaval of the landmass, amazing.

@Observing: Thanks Mike

Don from spokane, United States

I like this subject very much. The stream running directly toward the camera is quite eye-catching. The massive, slanted rocks add to the shot. I'll be looking forward to your work on this image tomorrow.

@Don: Thanks Don

Steve Rice from Olympia, United States

More of that nice red rock. The stream is quite beautiful. I like this a lot.

@Steve Rice: Thanks Steve

Evelyne Dubos from Le Mans, France

Really a lovely serie. This place is very attractive and i like your post-traitment who plays with the brown & green tones especially.

MaryB from Staffordshire, United Kingdom

Beautiful textures and colours in this shot Dave.
I'm using my archives too atm, getting withdrawal from not being able to get out to shoot pics!

25 Feb 2009 1:31am

@MaryB: Thanks Mary, I'm feeling the same way. I do have time to go out, but the weather isn't inspiring me, nothing but dull grey clouds.

Tammy/Cricket from Huntsville, United States

I would love to be sitting there right now. So peaceful and I like the angle in which the picture was taken.

@Tammy/Cricket: Thanks tammy
