@Zing: Thanks Zing Stunner from Kingston, JamaicaThis is an impressive yet interesting landscape and scene. I find it hard to size up this pool, when i look at the whole picture it looks like a huge scene and pool of water, but when I look at the stones in the pool the pool looks like a small pool of water. 10 Mar 2009 5:38am @Stunner: Thanks Stunner. It's quite small, about 2m long, its just exxagerated by the wide-angle @Didier: Thanks Didier Scene by Sharon Photography from Kingston, Ontario, Canadathe textures and movement of the rocks is wonderful 10 Mar 2009 10:26am @Scene by Sharon Photography: Thanks Sharon @Peter Miller: Thanks Peter Richard_Irwin from Belper, United KingdomIncredible shot, the flow of the geology is impressively captured. 10 Mar 2009 1:09pm @Richard_Irwin: Thanks Richard Luca Bobbiesi from Milano, Italyvery nice colours, I like also the reflection on water 10 Mar 2009 2:36pm @Luca Bobbiesi: Thanks Luca. Steve Rice from Olympia, United StatesA beautiful image. What is that bit of different colored substance on the two rocks right in the middle of the pool? It's much brighter than the surrounding tones. At any rate, I like the details in the rock and the pleasing colors. 10 Mar 2009 3:42pm @Steve Rice: Thanks Steve. If you're referring to the triangle of white, its the last of the reflection my polariser couldn't get rid of. Otherwise, its lichen on the rocks Tracy from La Selva Beach, United StatesThis is a very nice shot- I really love the textures of the rocks, with the mussels & limpets nicely in focus. The little reflection in the middle is a nice addition. 10 Mar 2009 3:47pm @Tracy: Thanks Tracy e11even from eleven, United Statesthis is an interesting image- however i would love to see it in the more subtley edited original, i think this 10 Mar 2009 4:11pm @e11even: I think we might have to agree to differ on the subject of post-processing Rio; I do like the criticism though, I think this may be too over-processed aswel, I've found my lapop screen to not be properly calibrated, it can be hard to judge! However, the original exposure didn't have the impact I think this location deserved! Otherwise, this is a tidal pool, as I said above to Stunner its only about 2m long, sitting above the seashore, it was about a 4m scramble up wet rocks, which was great fun! don from spokane, United StatesA fine shot showing us the strata of the rocks around this pool. I especially like the rich colors and detail. Nice one. 10 Mar 2009 4:33pm @don: Thanks Don @peter: Thanks Peter Evelyne Dubos from Le Mans, FranceIt's a great play of textures and variations of colors. But for me, it's a little bit over-exposed... 10 Mar 2009 4:46pm @Evelyne Dubos: Thanks Evelyne Marie LC from Voiron, FranceImpressive and nice textures. Little bit over-exposed for me too but really interesting 10 Mar 2009 5:45pm @Marie LC: Thanks Marie Jasp from Plymouth, United KingdomYou can't beat messing about in rock pools... it has a great abstract feel to it. 10 Mar 2009 7:57pm @Jasp: Thanks Jasp, you sure can't! @Helma: Thanks Helma Graham Russon from Cape Town, South AfricaThe colours and lines in this are fantastic. Great processing 10 Mar 2009 9:20pm @Graham Russon: Thanks Graham @Ana Lúcia: Thanks Ana Lucia @Lee: Thanks Lee Scott Schilling from San Martin, United StatesI really like the color tones and the water pool - great shot and beautiful area! 11 Mar 2009 3:37am @Scott Schilling: Thanks Scott jhani from Abu dhabi, United Arab Emiratesamazing... i dont have word to express my feeling... wonderfull colors and composition 17 Mar 2009 9:53am |
