Noughts and Crosses

Posted by DaveB (Exeter, United Kingdom) on 21 March 2009 in Landscape & Rural.

I'm currently using a hoover as an impromptu cooling fan for my laptop, so unless the repair guy down the road can work his magic tomorrow, it may be the end of my near 2-year posting streak! :(

As for this one, another one from Dartmoor, pretty much outa the camera apart from the B&W

As always, comments are welcome, particularly those offering feedback and criticism on my images! (It's the only way I'll learn!) :)

P J W Miller from Chase Terrace, United Kingdom

Not sure what the pretty much means, looks like it has had some pp other than mono but nevertheless it is a great shot

@P J W Miller: Other than a curve layer, this is as shot; it might look off as its overexposed by 1 stop to maximise the data captured

Giovanni from Milan, Italy

zOOm from Paris, France

Lovely setting, even if it looks dry and arid. The choice of B&W is obvious. Well done.

Laura from Birmingham, United Kingdom

works so well in B&W, and the grass in the foreground has great definition. Good that you got down low for this shot, the perspective and landscape is great

Very strange to find a cross in a such deserted place. Contrasted B&W suit well.

Tracy from La Selva Beach, United States

This is fantastic in B&W- I love the solitary feel of this.
I hope your computer survives :) It would be a shame if you were "out of commission"
