Didier DE ZAN from somewhere, Francelooks like and infrared shot I like this treatment 26 Mar 2009 5:41am @Didier DE ZAN: Thanks Didier ttt from Berlin, GermanyThat's better, wide open spaces. I must admit I love B&W(I think I'm going back to film). 26 Mar 2009 7:37am @ttt: Thanks TTT Scene by Sharon Photography from Kingston, Ontario, Canadareally nice shot - love the texture and the B&W 26 Mar 2009 10:03am @Scene by Sharon Photography: Thanks Sharon Laura from Birmingham, United Kingdomthe b&W works really well for this, brings up the contrasts in the grass nicely 26 Mar 2009 11:11am @Laura: Thanks Laura BoB from Milano, Italybeautiful black and white process, the right side seems almost an infrared 26 Mar 2009 1:23pm @BoB: Thanks Bob @Jip (Raven): Thanks Jip shroom from DFW, United StatesI always find it odd to get a sense of vastness in a photo from wee Britannia. Nice one. 26 Mar 2009 3:48pm @shroom: Thanks Shroom Sarito from Basingstoke, United KingdomBeautiful shot.. love the post processing! 26 Mar 2009 3:56pm @Sarito: Thanks Sarito P J W Miller from Chase Terrace, United KingdomCheers Dave while you are not a fan of my today post, a lot of people including myself are. I don't think I need to play with it anymore, its a subjective observation I know. Anyway lets get to this one, it's an Ok image, I like the lines leading out to a perspective, the tones are fine a nice subtle blend but too much of a white distraction on the right hand side, just my view, overall you do produce some excellent work but this is not one of my favourites 26 Mar 2009 4:39pm @P J W Miller: Thanks for the comment Peter. As you said, its all subjective. Please dont feel the need to justify yourself everytime I leave critical feedback, I'd prefer if everyone did this to me as opposed to short noncomittal statements Staffs Bound from Stafford, United KingdomNot sure if this works for me, its an ok shot there are some good qualities about this, i like the sky, the rest is a bit bland, you seem to spend an awful amount of time stuck in a field according to your portfolio, perhaps a change of scenery would boost your self confidence 26 Mar 2009 5:05pm @Staffs Bound: Thanks for the feedback. I like spending times in fields, and I feel up til recently my portfolio was dominated by seascapes and urban shots Alun Lambert from cheshire, United KingdomLove this shot, great leads for the eye, very well exsposed and works really well in mono 26 Mar 2009 5:55pm @Alun Lambert: Thanks Alun Richard_Irwin from Belper, United KingdomI just love following these old tracks. Lovely work and super contrast range 26 Mar 2009 7:24pm @Richard_Irwin: Thanks Richard Graham Russon from Cape Town, South AfricaThe title says it all, this is a great shot. 26 Mar 2009 7:52pm @Graham Russon: Thanks Graham @manel: Thanks Manel @Suzanne: Thanks Suzanne Ronnie 2¢ from London, United KingdomVery fine b&w. Never ceases to amaze me how much detail a b&w conversion releases. 27 Mar 2009 1:27am @Ronnie 2¢: Thanks Ronnie Steve Rice from Olympia, United StatesIt looks great in B&W also. A really beautiful place. I like this series a lot. 27 Mar 2009 3:05am @Steve Rice: Thanks Steve Mike from Lichfield, United KingdomI like trails, paths, tracks etc in photos. Black and white was a good choice for this shot. It's a shame the track doesn't lead the eye to something on the horizon. A tractor might have worked well, maybe a tree or something exciting weather wise. It's still a good shot though. 27 Mar 2009 4:25am @Mike: Thanks Mike. I know what you mean, it would be nice to have something of interest to lead into |
