Pillar to post 1 worked ,I'm finding this to dominant in the foreground, it blocks my viewing to the background. Perhaps moving back slightly and more to the right and using the pathway as the diagonal and the post as a lead in to the path. Just my 2 cents.

Nice composition with good shadow play, like a way marker, one neber seems to be able to get away from the plane trails, I have the same issue

I'm impressed with the near/far qualities of this interesting shot. The monolith's textures are attractive, but it's the overall uniform colorcast that gives the picture a distinctive look and appeal. Well done.
