@Rags: Thanks Rags @Didier DE ZAN: Thanks Didier @Zing: Thanks Zing Scott Schilling from San Martin, United StatesWonderful photograph and composition - the water in contrast with the land has incredible visual interest for me in this photo! Great Work! 31 Mar 2009 6:16am @Scott Schilling: Thanks Scott Mike from Lichfield, United KingdomThis may sound like a strange one Dave but It would be interesting to know what you think about this photo? I've been looking at it for a few minutes now and can't quite put my finger on what I like and dislike about it. . . . If that makes any sense. 31 Mar 2009 6:17am @Mike: Its not what I wanted out of the shot when I took it Mike, if that makes sense. I shot this as a 7-shot HDR sequence, cos I wanted to bring out the sharpness throughout and have less in the way of shadows. Then my laptop died, which means I have enough trouble running CS3 at the moment, let alone Photomatix! I vaguely like how its some out, but it could be better! Thanks for the comment! @Olivier Jules: Thanks Olivier Sarito from Basingstoke, United KingdomVery interesting.. the grass on either side of the river looks very dry and yet there is plenty of water in the river.. Nice shot! 31 Mar 2009 7:47am @Sarito: Thanks Sarito Elena Kotrotsou from Drossia, GreeceI love the colors of the water in contrast with the brown outside! 31 Mar 2009 9:27am @Elena Kotrotsou: Thanks Elena @BoB: Thanks BoB peter from new york, United Statesvery cool shot. and although the water is running, i like how still and calm it looks! 31 Mar 2009 3:46pm @peter: Thanks Peter don from Spokane, United StatesI like how well you've processed this image to give the grassland(?) such a light look making it very attractive and a fine setting for the water flowing. the streaming greenery gives the water a look of motion that enhances the shot. 31 Mar 2009 4:13pm @don: Thanks Don. Steve Rice from Olympia, United StatesThere are some green plants, in the water. A great shot. Love this series. 31 Mar 2009 5:37pm @Steve Rice: Thanks Steve manel from Girona, SpainMuy parecida a la del día 29, o al menos es por la misma zona. Me gusta más en B&W. 31 Mar 2009 6:10pm @manel: Thanks Manel, I think I prefer the B&W aswel Graham Russon from Cape Town, South AfricaLovely shot, the contrasting colours all blend together perfectly. 31 Mar 2009 7:13pm @Graham Russon: Thanks Graham Alun Lambert from cheshire, United Kingdomreally good detail in the water, good image 31 Mar 2009 9:09pm @Alun Lambert: Thanks Alun @Suzanne: Thanks Suzanne Mike from Lichfield, United KingdomIve eventually Sussed this one out. I couldn't really pick fault with it but I felt a little something missing. Dartmoor ponies would be perfect, a third in from the right in the middle of the ground beyond the stream. That would have clinched it! Rounding them up to pose for you is another issue LOL. That's where a bit of luck comes into the occasion whereby something's there just when you need it. It's a good photo regardless. I noticed when I moved up to cs3 it was more demanding on my pc. 1 Apr 2009 8:52pm |
