Jagged EdgesPosted by DaveB (Exeter, United Kingdom) on 7 April 2009 in Landscape & Rural. Another one from Woolacombe, those rocks are as painful as they look. I'm not happy with the sky in this one; other than that, it's ok. As always, comments are welcome, particularly those offering feedback and criticism on my images! (It's the only way I'll learn!) :)

Didier DE ZAN from somewhere, FranceVery beautiful treatment we are on another planet 7 Apr 2009 5:32am @Didier DE ZAN: Thanks Didier Tracy from La Selva Beach, United StatesI don't know- I rather like it. I like the way the colors & tones seem to reflect those of the landscape. The rocks are beautiful. 7 Apr 2009 5:56am @Tracy: Thanks Tracy, I like the colours but the overlapping clouds put me off! @Zing: Thanks Zing Mike from Lichfield, United KingdomA very dramatically processed shot. I think I'd maybe like to see it with a little more contrast for my own personal taste but the shot is basically sound and I like it a lot. Woolacombe's a great place, I normally head down there at least once a year to get a bit of surfing and body boarding in. Croyde Bay has a special place in my heart. 7 Apr 2009 6:51am @Mike: Thanks Mike, Woolacombe was cool, a nice mix of things to shoot, lots of fun. Just a shame I didn't get a proper sunset! Scene by Sharon Photography from Kingston, Ontario, Canadafabulous capture - I actually am quite taken in with the sky and the way the sunbeams are peaking through 7 Apr 2009 10:29am @Scene by Sharon Photography: Thanks Sharon zOOm from Paris, FranceTerrific rendering on textures Dave ! Thrilling point of view ! 7 Apr 2009 11:06am @zOOm: Thanks zOOm @Stunner: Thanks Stunner, I came away with scratches along with photos Don from spokane, United StatesI like the overall color cast of the image. The rocks looks very rugged and make a fine foreground for the surf. 7 Apr 2009 4:34pm @Don: Thanks Don Graham Russon from Cape Town, South AfricaI think the sky makes the shot, great processing great colours. 7 Apr 2009 8:03pm @Graham Russon: Thanks Graham Ronnie 2¢ from London, United KingdomYes, rocks like that are real ankle-twisters . . amazing how the faults in the rock follow the perspective in this one like they are there for photographic use only . . hee hee 7 Apr 2009 11:18pm @Ronnie 2¢: God was thinking of me when he laid them down, 6000 years ago or so :) DarkElf from Perth, Australiaquite surreal final effect! the detail is fantastic! 8 Apr 2009 1:22am @DarkElf: Thanks Darkelf @ttt: Thanks ttt |
