Sky on Fire

Posted by DaveB (Exeter, United Kingdom) on 11 April 2009 in Landscape & Rural and Portfolio.

The first of a number of 7-shot HDR sequences from Woolacombe taken at or near sunset; although the clouds prevented a proper sunset, I still managed to get some neat colours

As always, comments are welcome, particularly those offering feedback and criticism on my images! (It's the only way I'll learn!) :)

Ronnie 2¢ from London, United Kingdom

An amazing effect for sure . . I like how the perspective has been exaggerated by the wide angle here, too. Really makes a huge statement.

amazing sunset aside...love the use of the seaweed in the foreground for interest and to draw you in.

@Ted: Thanks Ted, it seems to be a common theme for me at the mo, a bit of rock or plant at the front of a wide-angeld shot!
